Accessibility

The Nelson Hotel is accessible to wheelchair users on the ground floor via a slope at the front of the building. We recommend that you have assistance to encounter this slope. In the ground floor entrance lobby there is a disabled toilet. Once you are in the ground floor lobby you will then require to obtain assistance to enter the Hotel from the ground floor there are double doors that are not automatic. You will be able to fit a standard wheelchair of no more than 700mm wide into these doors. Once in the next lobby you are able to enter the lift which will take you to all floors. Regrettably, due to the age and design of the building we do not have any bespoke bedrooms that cater specifically for wheel chair access. Please note that a standard wheelchair is no more than 700mm wide and 900mm in depth. Please contact us direct before booking to ensure we are able to meet your needs,
